By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About Hoopono.my

Hoopono.my is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. Hoopono.my provides the Platform for transactions and may offer payment holding (escrow) services to help facilitate secure purchases.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform. By registering an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

You agree to:

Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
Keep your password secure.
Notify Hoopono.my immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Accept responsibility for activities conducted through your account.

Hoopono.my reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activities.

4. Marketplace Role

Hoopono.my operates as a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers. Unless otherwise stated, Hoopono.my is not the manufacturer, owner, or direct seller of products listed by independent sellers.

While Hoopono.my works to promote safe transactions, we cannot guarantee that every listing, seller, or buyer will always meet your expectations.

5. Escrow Payment Service

For eligible transactions, Hoopono.my may hold the buyer's payment until the order has been delivered.

The general process is:

The buyer places an order and completes payment.
Hoopono.my securely holds the payment.
The seller ships the order.
The buyer confirms receipt of the item in satisfactory condition, or the applicable confirmation period expires without a dispute.
Hoopono.my releases payment to the seller after deducting any applicable fees.

If a dispute is raised before payment is released, Hoopono.my may temporarily hold the funds while the matter is reviewed.

6. Orders and Payments

Orders are subject to product availability and successful payment authorization.

Prices are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated.

Hoopono.my reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders involving pricing errors, suspected fraud, prohibited items, or violations of these Terms.

7. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers agree to:

List products accurately.
Upload genuine product images.
Ship orders within the stated handling time.
Comply with Malaysian laws and regulations.
Sell only products that they are legally permitted to sell.
Respond promptly to buyer inquiries.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all listings are truthful and do not infringe the rights of others.

8. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers agree to:

Provide accurate delivery information.
Make payment through the approved payment methods.
Review product descriptions carefully before purchasing.
Report any issues within the applicable dispute period.
Avoid fraudulent chargebacks or abusive conduct.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier operations, weather, customs procedures, or other circumstances beyond Hoopono.my's control.

Risk of loss or damage may pass according to the applicable shipping arrangement and law.

10. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by the Hoopono.my Return & Refund Policy.

Refund requests may be approved where appropriate, including situations such as:

Wrong item received.
Item significantly different from its description.
Item damaged during shipping.
Item not received, subject to verification.

Refunds may be refused if the claim is unsupported or if the buyer has violated these Terms.

11. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

Sell counterfeit or illegal products.
Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices.
Upload false or misleading information.
Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform.
Use automated tools to scrape or misuse the Platform without authorization.
Infringe intellectual property rights.
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

Hoopono.my may suspend or permanently terminate accounts involved in prohibited activities.

12. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, including text, graphics, logos, software, and design elements owned by Hoopono.my or its licensors, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify such content without prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hoopono.my shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable law.

14. Suspension and Termination

Hoopono.my may suspend or terminate accounts that:

Violate these Terms.
Engage in fraudulent or unlawful conduct.
Pose security risks.
Abuse the Platform or other users.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by the Hoopono.my Privacy Policy, which explains how your personal information is collected, used, and protected.

16. Changes to These Terms
